There are special tools for the timing belts that are needed to set them back in the correct position. The cam gears have no timing marks only the crankshaft does. It can be done without them if you make your own marks on the timing gears prior to removing the timeng belt to access the water pump. Also make sure to line the "safe" marks up so there is no valve to piston contact. The marks are on the timing cover and the crank pulley. good luck. Mike |
